We began with the original: the Kolhapuri chappal, a GI-tagged sandal made by hand in Kolhapur for centuries. The same care now goes into everything we make.

The original Indian sandal
Every pair is cut and hand-stitched in vegetable-tanned leather, with a cushioned sole for all-day comfort. As a GI Authorised User, we make the genuine Kolhapuri chappal for women, men and kids, alongside new sandal styles built on the same craft.
Handwoven for the home and the road
Our baskets and bags are woven by hand at Soni, near Kolhapur, in shapes made for everyday use: the market tote, storage with a lid, and a gift that lasts.

1,200 craftspeople make our products in their own clusters, with our units for tools, training, sizing and quality checks. Each craft stays with the community it comes from, and every piece is checked before it reaches you.
Aparnnaa and Aatish Chavaan
Aparnnaa has built fashion and craft businesses in Kolhapur since 2009 and leads design and our craft communities. Aatish taught for 11 years at KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur, and leads production, our craft units and the brand.
