Returns and Refund Policy

Returns Policy:

Kalapuri assures you the best of quality when it comes to our products. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason; you may return the product unused, and in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging within 2 days from the date on which these goods are delivered. We shall issue 100% refund of the cost of the product.

All our products are handcrafted with love by our artisans, to ensure our customers can get the best of style and utility. We also ensure that we provide pictures of the products across multiple angles to give you the best idea of the size and dimensions of the product. Before final dispatch, each product undergoes a thorough Quality Check, before it is dispatched via our courier partners.

All this is done to empower you to take the most educated decision before making your purchase since once a product is unpacked, we cannot sell it again to another customer in many cases and hence we only support limited returns or cancellation requests.
Our esteemed customers are requested to check the size chart twice before placing the final order for Kolhapuri Chappals, Baskets, Handbags, God Frames and stitched clothing.
We do not accept any returns for Kolhapuri Chappals, Baskets, Handbags, God Frames & Customized products. Please check the size chart twice before placing the final order for these products.

Customer can return products in below specific reasons:

  • If Wrong Product is delivered to you
  • If Damaged Product is delivered to you

In cases of our product having a defect, kindly send us a video showing clearly unpacking of the product & the defect found to sales@kalapuri.com within 2 days from the date of receiving the package. Our team will inspect the case and get back to you with next steps, if this qualifies for a return / replacement or Exchange. Without the defective product’s video, request for refund can’t be entertained. The product should be returned in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging. Do mention your order number and order description in this email. Depending on customer’s geographic location, the time taken for exchanging the returned product to reach you may vary.

Please note –

  • Customer needs to bear the shipping costs while returning the product.
  • If our courier partner does not accept the return request, customer will have to arrange for the courier partner. In both the cases, customer has to bear the return shipment charges.
  • At any point of time, the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
  • We would accept returns if we believe there was any fault from our end. In that case, Customer need to send the video recording of the product showing the unpacking of the product and clearly highlighting the manufacturing defect in it.
  • Any complaint with regards to the damage or stains or stitching or any other should be reported to us within 2 days of the receipt of the products. 

Refund Policy:

All Kalapuri products are made by artisans from rural area, we request our esteemed customers to ask for a replacement rather than a refund for the product price.
In case of product return, we will issue a refund within 15 working days once we receive the product back at our office after verifying the claim of the customer.
If customer paid twice for one transaction, then one transaction amount will be refunded via same source within 15 working days. Customer has to submit the screen shot or bank transaction details of such double payment to us. After verifying the bank details at our end, refund for such payment will be made within 15 working days.

The refund amount in all cases will be issued via net banking within 15 working days. Customer has to furnish the bank details like Name of the bank, Account holder’s name, Bank account number, IFSC Code of the Bank where the account is held, address of the bank etc. Account holder name and the customer name should be the same. If the customer provides wrong details of the bank account number, Kalapuri is not responsible for any loss arising out of such wrong information.
