Aparnnaa Chavaan
Aparnnaa started her first fashion business in Kolhapur in 2009. She launched her own label, Women's Cottage, in 2011 and WomensTrendz.com, the city's first online store, in 2013, then eKolhapuri and Kalapuri.
With more than ten years in design and in working with craft communities, she leads product design and the craftspeople who make every Kalapuri piece.
Aatish Chavaan
Before Kalapuri, Aatish spent more than 11 years as a professor at KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur, where he worked on e-commerce, brand building and social media.
Today he leads production, Kalapuri's three craft units and the brand, taking the Kolhapuri chappal and our other originals to customers across India.
