How to know my footwear size?

Please check the size chart in each of the footwear product page, and as per the guide there measure your feet in cm and you will get your accurate feet size.

Does Color transfer on feet?

All our footwear are colored using transfer proof color.

How long will my footwear going to last?

Our footwear are made with genuine leather and are durable enough to last several years, if taken proper care.

Will I get shoe bite wearing it ?

We prioritize your comfort! We use high-quality, soft leather and incorporate proper cushioning specifically to minimize the chances of shoe bites. Our goal is footwear that feels good right away.

How to know if Kolhapuri’s are authentic ?

You can be assured of their authenticity because our Kolhapuri chappals hold the official GI (Geographical Indication) tag. This certification guarantees they are genuinely crafted in the Kolhapur region using recognized traditional methods and quality standards.

Can I wear them all day?

They are suitable for everyday wear.

Can I wear them in the rain or get them wet?

While the sole design considers grip, the main concern with rain is the genuine leather upper. To prevent potential damage like staining or warping and keep your chappals looking their best, we recommend keeping them out of heavy rain and avoiding getting them soaked. If they do get wet, air dry them completely.

Does the footwear get fungus?

Our leather is free from fungus. But if they do get fungus due to moisture retention, you can sun-dry the chappals for a short period (an hour or so) or use a dryer on a low setting, then wipe clean.

How do I care for my Kolhapuri chappals? How do I clean them?

Keep them away from excessive water and moisture. Clean regularly with a soft, dry cloth or brush to remove dirt. Store them in a cool, dry place, preferably in a cloth bag (provided) when not in use.

We use a variety of durable and skin-friendly non-precious metals, plated with gold to achieve a traditional look. Our pieces feature high-quality artificial stones, beads, and faux pearls that closely resemble the real counterparts. We clearly mention the materials used in the description of each piece.

Is your jewelry skin-friendly?

We prioritize your comfort and safety. Our jewelry is crafted using materials that are generally skin-friendly. However, individuals with extreme sensitivities to certain metals should review the material information provided for each piece.

Where is your jewelry made?

Our jewelry pieces are crafted by skilled artisans who meticulously recreate the intricate designs of traditional Maharashtrian jewelry. While the base materials differ from precious metals, the artistry and attention to detail remain central to our creation process.

How can I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry looking its best for longer, avoid contact with water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. Store it in a dry, separate box or pouch to prevent scratches and tangling. Gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after each use.

Our baskets are handwoven using durable polyvinyl straps.

How long do the baskets last?

With proper care and usage, our baskets can last for many years.

Are the baskets waterproof?

The baskets are water-resistant—they can handle light spills on the surface. However, extended exposure to water may allow moisture to seep inside.

Can the baskets be washed?

Yes, the baskets are washable. Simply rinse with water and let them dry in direct sunlight to restore their original look.

RETURNS

Can I return Kolhapuri Chappals, Baskets, Handbags, or God Frames?

No, these items are custom-made and are not eligible for return or refund.

When can I return a product?

You can return a product only if:

  1. A wrong item was delivered
  2. The product is damaged or defective
How do I raise a return request?

Email a clear unpacking video showing the defect to kalapuri.sales@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery. Include your order number and description. No returns will be accepted without the video proof.

Are returns accepted for part of an order?

Please contact our customer care team to check eligibility.

Do I need to return the free gift too?

Yes, the free gift must be returned along with the original product.

Who bears the return shipping cost?

Customers must arrange and bear the shipping cost for returning a product.

REPLACEMENTS

What is Kalapuri’s Free Replacement policy?

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we’ll replace it at no extra cost. Stock availability applies.

What if the replacement product is out of stock?

You'll receive a full refund or can choose a different product of equal or lesser value.

What if Kalapuri says return/replacement isn’t possible?

Return/replacement is declined if:

  • Request is made after 2 days
  • The product is used, damaged, or not in original condition
  • Original packaging, tags, or invoice is missing
  • It's a made-to-order or sale item

REFUNDS

I haven’t received my refund yet. Why?

If your refund is confirmed, it's being processed. Delays may occur due to your payment provider. Contact us if it exceeds the promised timeframe.

What is the maximum refund amount?

Refunds will not exceed the actual product value.

Standard products ship quickly; hand-painted or woven items may take 15–30 days. Please order in advance.

Can I cancel my order?
  • Prepaid & custom-made orders can't be cancelled after dispatch.
  • International and bulk order cancellations aren't accepted.
  • COD orders can't be cancelled once confirmed by phone/email.
  • Cancellation requests will be reviewed case-by-case.

PRICING & CHARGES

Are there hidden costs?
  • Domestic orders: All costs are included in the price.
