Shipping Policy — Kalapuri

Order Processing & Dispatch

• All orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of order confirmation.
• We ship via standard courier partners and provide a tracking link.
• Domestic deliveries typically take 3–7 working days. During sales periods or due to artisan availability, there may be occasional delays.

Where Do We Deliver?

• We deliver worldwide to all valid street addresses.
• Courier companies do not deliver to P.O. Boxes — please provide a complete address with a PIN/ZIP code.
• Deliveries are made during regular working hours, which vary by country.
• No shipments are made on Sundays and public holidays. Courier partners may observe additional local holidays.

Domestic Shipping (India)

• Free shipping across India on every order — no minimum spend.
• Estimated delivery: 3–7 working days, depending on location.
• Ensure your postal address is complete with the correct PIN code to avoid delays.
• If shipping to colleges, schools, or hostels, Kalapuri is not responsible if the package is refused or undelivered.

Address Changes & Incorrect Addresses

• If an incorrect address is provided, the customer bears any extra courier charges for re-shipping.

Packaging

Cancellation Policy — Kalapuri

How do I cancel an order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it. Once an
order has been shipped or delivered, it can no longer be cancelled.

How long does it take to process a cancellation?
Once you request a cancellation in time, it may take up to 5 business days for
us to process it. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's done.

Cancellation window
Requests must be made within 12 hours of placing your order, and only before
the order has shipped. Cancellation requests received after 12 hours, or after
the order has already shipped, cannot be honored.

Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy — Kalapuri

1. Footwear

• Sizing basis: Standard Euro/stock sizing — not custom or made-to-measurement. This policy applies to all chappal styles.
• Window: 7 days from delivery.
• Eligible for: Wrong size, change of mind, or manufacturing defect — unworn, in original packaging, with tags intact.
• Not eligible: Signs of wear, damage from use, or alteration after delivery.
• Cost: Customer self-ships the return in all cases. Kalapuri reimburses return shipping only when the return is due to our error (defect or wrong item sent).
• Refund method: Store credit for change-of-mind returns. Cash refund to original payment method for our error.

2. Jewelry

• Window: 7 days from delivery.
• Eligible for: Change of mind, wrong item, or manufacturing defect — unused, original packaging and tags intact.
• Not eligible: Signs of wear or tarnishing from use.
• Cost: Customer self-ships in all cases; Kalapuri reimburses shipping only for our error.
• Refund method: Store credit for change-of-mind. Cash refund for our error.

3. Baskets

• Window: 7 days from delivery to report an issue.
• Eligible for: Defect, transit damage, or wrong item received — only. No change-of-mind, color/weave-variation, or size-preference returns.
• Required for a claim: A complete unboxing video (starting before opening, clearly showing the shipping label/AWB) plus photos of the issue. Claims without this evidence may be declined.
• Cost: Customer self-ships. Kalapuri reimburses return shipping only when the fault is ours.
• Refund method: Cash refund to original payment method (no change-of-mind path exists for baskets, so store credit never applies here).

4. General Terms (For all categories)

• Once Kalapuri receives the returned item, it goes through quality check (QC). Approved refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the item, issued as store credit or to the original payment method per the category rules above.
• Store credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be used against any product on kalapuri.com.
• Kalapuri is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after a package is confirmed delivered by the courier — this is a courier/shipping matter, not a returns matter.
