How to Choose the Right Length

All Kalapuri Kolhapuri jewellery comes with an adjustable Gonda (Dori) closure, so most pieces can be worn at a few different lengths. Use this guide to pick the style that suits your neckline and occasion.

Thushi & Pipe Thushi

Typically 13–16 cm, sitting close to the base of the neck like a choker. Best for high-neck blouses, sarees, and Peshwai-style bridal looks.

Mangalsutra (incl. Belpan & Laxmi Coin styles)

Typically 14–18 cm, worn snug at the collarbone. A daily-wear piece — go for a shorter, minimal design for everyday use and a longer, layered design for festive occasions.

Gadi Tik & Vajra Tik

Typically 15–17 cm, designed as statement chokers with a central pendant or motif. Pairs well with V-neck or boat-neck blouses that let the pendant sit visibly.

Jondhale Pote & Gahu Mani Pote

Typically 18–22 cm, a slightly longer multi-strand bead necklace. Versatile for both ethnic and Indo-western outfits.

Haar, Mala & Gol Mala

Our longest styles, typically 20–26 cm, falling below the collarbone. Best suited for bridal and festive wear, or layered over a shorter piece for a statement look.
